On Georgian alphabet

The Georgian alphabet is the second most beautiful alphabet in the world (behind Thai). It's all smooth curvy shapes and with little bubbles here and there (my most favorite letter is 'sh' - შ). Even though the Georgians themselves assert that it was developed by a half-mythic Georgian king, the available evidence points to Mesrob Mashtots (also author of the Armenian alphabet) as the originator. But the Armenian alphabet is nowhere near as pretty.

Now the word for telephone is ტელეფონი (telep'oni). Its abbreviation is tel. - ტელ (used in print ads). Those three characters look completely like a picture of an old-school telephone. First is the base unit, lying next to it is the receiver, and the third character looks like a coiled phone cord!
